Little Darlings

It’s time for a brand new episode! I am joined by 4 gals and we break down some girl talk. Not the kind you hear by the lockers, more like the inside of the confessional box. I start it off by telling some embarrassing sex stories that would ignite a slut-shaming army, we tell you what it’s really like inside a girls head when we go to the bar or club and deal with “bar dudes”, we talk about body dysmorphia, why women tear each other down, food addiction, things we do to feel sexy and good about ourselves, why it’s awesome to wallow sometimes and the horrible side of big tits. Look for Part 2 going up next week where we are joined by Ian“McSoss” Sharpley and Ryan McCormick from “A Fireside Chat” and get a male perspective on some of our discussions. Thank you so much for listening!

Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History

well_behaved_women_rarely_make_history

This is a classic. I pulled this episode from the vault, back when we were on our old host site, so all the new listeners can enjoy it! I am joined by 5 lovely ladies as we crack open a few bottles of wine and air some dirty laundry! These are our confessions. We talk about so many things in this episode, everything from birth control and how hormones can totally ruin you, to anti depressants, to sex and relationships, to how womens’ products are marketed to make you feel horrible about yourself and all of the insecurities we have.

This is a super fun episode and a great way to hear what women really think. I also wanted to put this one up because I will be doing this same idea again, but with a new group of girls. I love hearing all of the different perspectives that come with fresh faces, and I know you won’t be disappointed!

Feminism vs. Drugs vs. Race vs. Power (Part II)

jjjjHere is part 2 of my discussion with Annie, Ian Sharpley (McSoss & Party & BS) and Ryan McCormick (A Fireside Chat) where we compare stories of sexism, racism and ageism in the workplace, along with some great stories about the horrible bosses we’ve had along the way. We also discuss podcasting and the influence it has had in our conversations in our personal lives, the way it affects our story telling and interactions with people and we wrap it up with our final thoughts on feminism. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for listening!

Feminism vs. Drugs vs. Race vs. Power

jjjjI love this episode, this is part 1 of our round-table discussion where my guests Annie, Ian Sharpley from McSoss & Party & BS and Ryan McCormick fromA Fireside Chat discuss our thoughts on feminism, Lena Dunham, the way sex appeal is marketed to women, why it’s fun to chase people who are “unattainable” and we get into a great discussion about why men think it’s so easy for women to get laid vs men. We also talk about what kids are doing do get high and discuss scenarios if drugs were legal. And, as always, we bring it back around with our final thoughts on feminism, and they might not be what you’re thinking. Stay tuned for Part 2 going up next weekend. Thank you so much for listening, this podcast is made possible because of the amazing listeners. Enjoy!
